I appreciated that breakfast was included with my room rate. The room had a kitchenette, which was great for preparing snacks. The fridge was super handy. The dispensing machine near my room made grabbing drinks easy. A pleasant experience!

Upon arrival, I was appalled by the massive damage deposit policy, which was completely unjustified. The main entrance was dangerously icy without proper salting or signage for safety equipment, creating a hazardous situation. Additionally, breakfast options were not replenished in a timely manner. by 7:30 am, the buffet was nearly empty, leaving many guests displeased.

We stayed for 2 nights while exploring Halifax and found the rooms spacious and clean, which made our time there quite pleasant. The separate sitting area and kitchenette were really useful for our snacks and drinks. The staff was genuinely nice and even made recommendations for local eateries, which we appreciated. Breakfast included a nice selection of bagels and juices to start our day, which was a nice touch.

i was absolutely blown away by the state of this hotel. the pillows were dirty, like, really? and don’t even get me started on the elevator—i felt trapped just looking at it. i would’ve expected a complimentary upgrade for such discomfort, but no, just more disappointment. i almost thought about leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

The building is outdated!!! A musty smell in the second-floor corridors is far from inviting!!! There may be an odd assortment of cutlery in the rooms, but it seems poorly stocked overall!!!

The room had two comfy queen beds, which were a relief after traveling. We also had a spacious sitting area and a small kitchenette that we found quite handy. The bathroom was clean, which was a plus. A bit dated overall, but it served our needs well during our stay.
